FOR SEPARACOLOR INTERNATIONAL, INC.
We are asking for files to be prepared in a professional manner as this will yield the best results. Please consult a knowledgeable designer in preparing your digital files. Orders received varying from these specifications may be subject to delays and/or additional charges. Please review all requirements before placing an order. Simply Postcards, Simply Brochures & Simply Catalogs are trade DBAs for Separacolor International, Inc.
We can accept files as an attachment to E-mail, FTP (File Transfer Protocol), or standard transfer media type. We try to save file for up to 1 year but as a rule we DO NOT archive files. Please retain a complete original of your files. Label your case and disk with your company name. DO NOT SEND YOUR ONLY FILE.
Our prices are based on receiving a press ready, high resolution PDF file with 1/8" bleeds and crop marks. We can also accept a Mac or P.C. native platform at an additional charge.
MAC- Quark, Photo Shop, Illustrator, In Design, Page Maker and Free Hand.
P.C.- Quark, Corel Draw, In Design, Photo Shop and Publisher
If you are supplying a native program, your document size should be the same size as the page saved at 100 percent. Do not stylize the fonts. Send only the fonts you use (i.e. italic, bold etc). DO NOT USE KEY BOARD FUNCTIONS. All colors are to be built as CMYK values. No RGB or SPOT colors. Include All the files required to assemble your document. This will include all Document Layout, Images and Fonts. Do not include any un-used files or fonts.
PDFs, will need to have all fonts embedded to press settings / high resolution.
All images are to be saved as CMYK values. Do not save as RGB. The resolution of each image must be a minimum of 300 D.P.I. at their final size used in your file. Do not resample to get 300 DPI resolution.
1/8" bleeds are included in the price.
WE ONLY PRINT IN CMYK. ALL FILES SUBMITTED FOR PRINTING WILL BE CONVERTED TO THIS PRINT STANDARD. Only submit the files that are to be printed. If you submit the wrong files, you accept full responsibility for the printing outcome.
We print using a direct to print process. We can provide you with a digital PDF or printed proof at an additional charge. It is understood that the CMYK values built into the file is what will print. Separacolor International, Inc. is not liable for color matching to screen proofs approved by the customers. Screen proofs will demonstrate design layout, text accuracy, image proportion and placement, but not color or density accuracy. We do not proof read your document.
If you require a proof from us prior to printing, please request it on our order form. Otherwise, the order goes direct to print.
DO NOT TRUST THE COLORS ON YOUR MONITOR. CHECK ALL COLOR BUILDS AGAINST A CMYK COLOR GUIDE.
We print directly from your files to SWOP ink and density standards. All printing is done in four color process. All artwork or designs and images must be provided in CMYK format. Separacolor International, Inc. is not responsible for any color shift that occurs in conversions from RGB to CMYK or PMS Panton colors to CMYK color modes.
All artwork, designs and images must be provided in minimum of 300 DPI and CMYK color mode. Separacolor International, Inc. is not responsible for images printed as fuzzy, distorted or pixilated due to customer provided artwork.
50% payment is required with order submission. Balance due prior to shipping. A completed and signed order form must accompany your order. To keep our prices well below market, we do not extend payment terms. If you require 30 days to pay, we accept MasterCard, Visa, Discovery or American Express. If you are paying by credit card, it is understood that the balance plus freight and applicable tax will also be charged to that same credit card.
All goods will be shipped at your expense via UPS or a common carrier. We can ship a partial or all your postcards via UPS Next Day, 2nd Day, or 3rd Day service provided arrangements are made 2 days in advance of projected ship date.
If you require your order sent to two or more locations or some ground and some air freight, there will be NO EXTRA charge for each additional shipping destination.
SHIP IN CONFIDENCE:
If you are having us drop ship to your client and you require source confidence, please check the appropriate box on the order form.
CALIFORNIA STATE SALES
All orders shipped inside California will be charged California State Sales Tax at the destinations taxing authority rate unless an original resale certificate is received with your order. Faxed copies are not accepted.
Every effort will be made to produce your printed goods to the highest standards. We employ the latest technology and equipment in producing all of our printed material. If for some reason you are not satisfied, and we concur with your finding, we will reprint your job at no charge to you. Because printed goods are custom in nature, there are no refunds.
We quote a shipping time in working days from receipt of files and printouts. While we strive to meet, and most times beat, these time frames, this is not a promise nor a guarantee.
It is understand that if you or your representative prepares digital files, the file specifications listed in this agreement will be followed. If file errors are found, your project will not be put into process until the files are corrected by us or you. If we correct your files, your order is subject to additional charges.
